AAHOACON25: Where History, Hospitality, and Opportunity Converge in New Orleans

April 10, 2025 by Cathleen Draper Leave a Comment

By Laura Lee Blake, ESQ., AAHOA President & CEO

Each year, AAHOACON brings together the brightest minds in hospitality, and this year, we are doing it in a city that has been at the crossroads of history, commerce, and culture for centuries – New Orleans. There is no place quite like it. From its deep-rooted traditions in hospitality to its role as a hub for business and innovation, the Big Easy is the perfect backdrop for AAHOACON25, our biggest event of the year.

U.S. Presidents have long recognized the significance of this city. Thomas Jefferson’s vision of American expansion was solidified here with the Louisiana Purchase. Theodore Roosevelt stood in the French Quarter, reinforcing his commitment to conservation and business reform. John F. Kennedy, speaking from New Orleans, reminded the nation, “We stand on the edge of a new frontier.” Like these leaders, AAHOA Members are also pioneers – bold entrepreneurs shaping the future of the hospitality industry.

A Gateway to Success

At AAHOACON25, history will not just surround us – it will be made. This year’s event will. feature:

• One of the largest trade shows in AAHOA history, showcasing cutting-edge products, services, and technology to help you maximize your business potential.

• Inspiring keynote speakers who will provide insights and strategies to drive your success.

• Unparalleled networking opportunities where every handshake could lead to a new deal, a new partnership, or a new growth opportunity.

Forge the Future of Hospitality

New Orleans has always been a city of resilience, reinvention, and revival. After Hurricane Katrina, President Barack Obama spoke from New Orleans, saying, “This city teaches us that out of devastation can come renewal; out of despair can come hope.” That same spirit defines AAHOA and our members – hardworking hotel owners who adapt, innovate, and thrive no matter the challenges.

AAHOACON25 is more than a conference. It is a turning point. It is the moment where deals are made, lifelong connections are forged, and the future of our industry is shaped. If you are serious about growing your business, expanding your network, and gaining insights that can propel you to the next level, then New Orleans is where you need to be from April 15 to 17.

Let’s make history together. I look forward to seeing you in the Big Easy!
